On 3 December 2023, the city of Valencia was the scene of an epic marathon, enhanced by the presence of our valiant Heart Heroes ambassadors, proudly displaying our colours.
Under the rays of the Spanish sun, Amaury Paquet crossed the finish line after covering the 42 kilometres in 2h08.44. Although this time doesn’t guarantee him a place at the 2024 Olympic Games, it does make him the 6th best Belgian performer in his discipline. Interviewed after the race, Amaury Paquet said he was ‘really happy’, and that he had perfectly controlled his pace thanks to an exceptional group.
Martin Clobert, alongside his two dedicated guides, Nathan de Bilderling and Sebastien Thirion, also took to the start line. He concluded his 8th marathon in style, setting a new personal best with a time of 2h33.46.
Two determined members of the Ladbrokes Foundation, Tom Stammeleer and Benoit Petit, also took up the marathon challenge, proudly flying the bright colours of Heart Heroes.
The Heart Heroes team is extremely proud of its champions and their outstanding results. These dazzling performances are testament to the courage and determination that characterise our brand ambassadors. Heart Heroes continues to shine, inspiring and uniting people even beyond our borders, carrying the values of the Ladbrokes Foundation high.
