2023, a success for Heart Heroes

Our achievements in 2023 and our vision for 2024.

Our achievements in 2023 and our vision for 2024.

This year, 2023, has been a resounding success for the Heart Heroes project, and it is with great pride that we take stock of our achievements. Our determination and commitment to sharing the values of this project have paid off.

The triumphs of 2023.

Heart Heroes visited a number of sports clubs in Brabant Wallon, Hainaut, Namur and Liège, as well as in Brussels, to raise awareness among amateur sportsmen and women of the importance of using life-saving techniques. By offering training in the use of defibrillators and first aid, as well as signposting so that defibrillators can be spotted as quickly as possible, we have been able to create a real network of ‘Heart Heroes’.

In all, nearly 20 new sports clubs have joined the project and decided to train their members in first aid. We would like to thank the managers of these clubs for taking part in this project, and thanks to them, almost 100 people will have been trained by 2023.

The vision for 2024.

In 2024, our objective is simple: to build on the success of 2023, we hope to reach many more clubs in the coming months and train even more Heart Heroes.

As we bring to a close the year 2023, which saw the launch of the Heart Heroes project, we are now looking ahead to 2024, a year that will begin with many new training courses. We’re looking forward to another successful year.
